Jeroboam's Altar
Sermon by Pastor N. Madusolumuo
Pastor Nneka Madusolumuo discusses the significance of altars and the elders that surround them, particularly from a biblical perspective. They reference the "Heavenly altar" and the moment when Apostle John received a revelation about the Lion of the tribe of Judah. The speaker emphasizes that every altar has elders associated with it, whether in a godly context or otherwise, suggesting that one cannot approach an altar without encountering these elders first. The speaker draws parallels between biblical accounts, such as Elijah's confrontation with Jezebel and Gideon's destruction of the altar of Baal, to illustrate the protective and influential role of elders in relation to altars.

Who are we?
Jesus Power Christian Ministries (JPCM) is an interdenominational member of the body of Christ affiliated to the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ). Like EFZ we believe in the whole Bible and the Power and Working of the Holy Spirit.

Mission
Is to glorify God through Jesus Christ by making Disciples of all Nations through the continued Ministry of Jesus Christ in Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Deliverance, Fellowship and Mercy, Support and care for each other as God’s family and encouraging personal Christian growth. (Jeremiah 1:10, Ephesians 4:11-16 and Luke 4:18-19).

Vision
To raise prayerful men and women who will reign over the nations and kingdoms, uprooting, pulling down, demolishing and overthrowing the works of darkness in order to establish the Kingdom of God thus fulfilling God’s will for His people.

Values
Faith, Truth, Love, Righteousness, Holiness, Sanctification and Fellowship of Believers.
JPCM Statement of Faith
1. We believe in the whole Bible and God’s plan to reconcile all men to Himself through Jesus Christ and according to the Foundation and the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and that it is the answer to every human question or challenge you can ever think of. (2 Timothy 3: 16 and 2 Peter 1: 20- 21).
2. We believe in the one and true God in the three Persons i.e. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit who is Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent. (Ephesians 4: 5- 6, Matthew 3: 16- 17, 1 Corinthians 8: 6 and Genesis 1: 26, Revelations 19: 6)
3. We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ and that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. We also believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead in bodily form after three days, and that Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and that He is coming back a second time to judge the whole world i.e. in the “Rapture” of the Church. (John 1: 1-4, Hebrews 1: 1-5, Luke 1: 30-35, Matthew 24: 29- 30, Acts 1: 9- 10, John 19: 30- 35, Luke 24: 36- 40, 1 Thessalonians 4: 16- 17.)
4. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus. (Acts 3: 19, Luke 24: 47, Ephesians 1: 7, 1 John 1; 7- 9)
5. We believe that Jesus Christ came to this world to set captives free and in the five-fold Ministries given to some by Jesus Christ. (Luke 4: 18- 19, Eph 4: 11-13).
6. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation through Jesus Christ. (Titus 3: 5, John 3: 3- 5.)
7. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Mediator between God and man and that the finished work on the Cross provides divine healing for the body and salvation of the soul for everyone that believes. (1 Peter 2: 24, 1 Timothy 2: 4- 5, Acts 3: 16 and Acts 9: 32- 35).
8. We believe that quality service to God does not come by might or power but by the Holy Spirit. We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Spirit, he/she receives the divine enablement for Christian service and witness. (Acts 1: 8, Acts 2: 4, Acts 3: 1- 26 and Acts 4: 5- 12).
9. We believe in the final resurrection and judgment of both the saved and the unsaved, both the dead and the living. We also believe in eternal life for the saved and eternal judgment for the unsaved. (Revelation 20: 11- 15, 1 Corinthians 15: 12- 23).
10. We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and that the Church should make known to the world the finished work of Christ Jesus and the power in that Name. (Colossians 1: 17- 18, Ephesians 3: 10, Philippians 2: 9- 11, Romans 15: 16
Specific Calling
Though JPCM has the general mission and mandate as all other members of the Body of Christ to reach out to the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it has a specific calling into deliverance ministry guided by Jeremiah 1: 10 (… See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant." ….(NKJV), which focuses on destroying the works of the devil in peoples’ lives by the Name of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Certain long-standing problems in life that people confront, such as poverty (both spiritual and physical), delayed or lack of marriage and etc., can only be addressed by special grace, through conducting deliverance prayers which can go to the root source of the problems and arrest them once and for all. After deliverance it is critical for a person to sustain the deliverance and remain free through enhanced spiritual growth and staying in the Word of God.
Our Services
These include Bible Study, Home Cells, Midweek Services, Sunday Worship Services, all Night Prayers, Strategic Prayers, Revival Meetings/ Camps, Deliverance Ministration, Counselling, Home Visits, Evangelism and Care for the less privileged. We also invite ministers of the Gospel, both local and international, to officiate at our conferences and other meetings.
Target Group
We do care and minister to any person who is spiritually, emotionally and physically oppressed. We have ministered to people across the length and breadth of society including the rich as well as the underprivileged, the widowed, sojourners, the fatherless and orphaned, the unemployed and etc.
History of Founder

The Vessel God used to found JPCM is the now Rev. Daniel Uzoma Madusolumuo who received a Divine Call of God on 2 September 1992 when he was a University Lecturer at ABU Zaria, Nigeria. The Rev. Daniel Uzoma Madusolumuo, was Born Again on 8 May 1988. He received a specific Divine Call to Minister in Zimbabwe while pursuing Post Graduate Studies in Montreal Canada at a time (1994) when he hardly knew anything at all about the Country of Zimbabwe himself.

The Calling
The Divine Call was confirmed by many men and women of God in Nigeria, America as well as in Canada, including the woman of God Sharon Stone at a time he had no intention of being a Preacher of the Gospel. By the Year 2002, God had put in place all that was needed to get this Vessel into Zimbabwe and starting of active Ministry.

The Ministry from the beginning
Jesus Power Christian Ministries (JPCM) subsequently began, in Harare, as a Home Cell Group in 1997 which steadily grew into a Church and Deliverance Ministry in 2002. Jesus Power Christian Ministries (JPCM) is Headquartered at the Miracle and Solution Centre at 2103, Ventersburg Township/Sunway City Ruwa near Harare. Other JPCM Worship Centres are at 138 Harare Street in Harare Central Business District (CBD); at 28 Tsere Close, New Tafara, Harare; at 2547 Hwedza Centre, Hwedza; in Epworth, Harare; in Cool Air/Dalton near Pietermaritzburg, South Africa; and in Nigeria.
The Ministries Outreaches have taken it as far as Binga, Bulawayo, in Zimbabwe; Nigeria; English Guyana; Suriname in South America; Barbados in the Caribbean; South Africa and the USA. In line with the Great Commission instruction, the ultimate vision is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the Globe.
