We warmly welcome you to the Jesus Wife Ministry page of Jesus Power Christian Ministries. Here, we honor and support the devoted women who have chosen a life of service to the Lord following the loss of their husbands.
Who Are We?
The Jesus Wife Ministry is composed of the widows within our church community. These are the courageous women who, after the passing of their spouses, have committed to not remarrying but instead, to live out the rest of their lives in service to Jesus Christ.
Our Foundation in Scripture
Our ministry’s name is inspired by the promises of God found in the Holy Scriptures:
- Isaiah 54:4-5 – Jesus as their eternal husband
- Psalm 68:5 – The protector and defender of widows
- Luke 2:36-38 – Exemplifying a life dedicated to God in widowhood
- 1 Kings 17:10-16 & 2 Kings 4:1-7 – Showcasing God’s provision and care
These passages reflect the roles traditionally held by husbands and fathers, now fulfilled by Jesus Christ for the women of our ministry.

Our Activities
- Fellowship: We gather to uplift and encourage one another in our shared journey.

- Spiritual Growth: We dedicate time to prayer and studying the Word of God.
- Destiny and Purpose: We remind each other that widowhood does not end our life’s mission or diminish our place in the Kingdom of God.
